Cheese Sauce

Great topping for elbow pasta! don’t overheat!

  • 2 T. butter
  • 2T flour
  • a few shakes of salt&Pepper and/or other spices
  • 1 c. milk
  • grated cheese
  • VERY microwave safe (not tupperware or plastic), large-ish bowl
  1. Melt butter
  2. Add flour, salt, pepper, and then milk
  3. Microwave 4-5 minutes while stirring every minute (or more often, this is where it WILL boil over if you aren’t paying attn!)
  4. Add cheese (and other spices or worchestershire sauce if desired)
