ER Marketing

As an Account Coordinator, I worked with multiple clients and ER Marketing on internal and external marketing campaigns.

Marketing communications portalfor ThyssenKrupp Access, a simple way for TKA dealers to:

• Order collateral
• Send direct mail campaigns
• Send email blasts.
• And more!

 

I worked on the beta test and launch plan as well as helped to develop and update the marketing collateral.

 

E-Commerce for Alco Stores From encouraging Alco to consider adding e-commerce and researching cart functionality. I worked as the client contact in creating the proposal, estimate, and keeping the project moving to its completion. The ecommerce channel has been very successful for Alco, a B2C retail store with over 200 Stores.

Proof in Performance campaign was developed as part of an aftermarket parts sales strategy to target the decision makers regarding repairing cooling towers.

One of my first projects, a brochure to introduce a new product—a lower end cooling tower—at a tradeshow in China. Managed vendors for CAD drawing and internal teams to develop a suitable concept and well designed brochure on a tight deadline.

On Demand Technologies

Originally an eight week marketing internship, ODT chose to extend and increase pay rate for a total 17 weeks. I worked on various projects in Marketing, design, copy, photography, and social media, mainly working with PersonalizedPrint.org, an online card store supporting universities and non-profits.

Learned basic business practices by starting a small event photography business.  This experience helped solidify the knowledge I learned later in my business classes on a very ‘I should have done that!’ level.

KU Marketing Club, AMA
I joined KU Marketing club and shortly thereafter, joined the leadership team as VP Advertising.  My mission was to get people to the meetings!  This was a great starter-course in networking events.

Johnson County Parks & Recreation After School Care
JCPRD employee within Belmont Elementary, a new school in De Soto.  I was a part of the Bulldog community, teaching kindergarten enrichment and as a member of the After-School care team.

Teapouro Tea & Espresso  

I helped this small business succeed through social media and guerilla marketing.  I was very thankful to have a chance to put my marketing learning and design experience into practice through advertisements, promotions, and branding. 

University of Kansas Psychology Department
In my last semester at KU, I worked in the Psychology office coordinating the SONA system where students sign up for Psychological experiments run by students and professors. I helped to reduce no-shows by 25% from the prior semester by tracking data and sending reminders.
